Biography

Eric grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and was interested in art from an early age. “My mother and father always encouraged me in my artistic pursuits.” Eric recalls. “My dad was a big inspiration to me. He was an amazing artist who could work in any art medium. He produced a huge amount of beautiful work.” Eric’s father, the late Richard E. Beasley was a well-known calligrapher and taught art at Northern Arizona University for 24 years until his death in 1992.

Eric graduated from NAU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting. He continued his studies in Tucson, Arizona in the digital arts. “I discovered Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, animation, page-layout, 3D and the Web. It was an exciting time.”

in 1998, Eric began his career with Morgan-Cain & Associates, where he spent 12 years helping produce K-12 textbooks and educational materials. Eric served as an adjunct instructor for The Southwest University of the Visual Arts, formerly known as the Art Center Design College in Tucson, Arizona. Currently, Eric works as a Graphic Specialist for Performance Associates International, Inc. He is an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop and enjoys attending Photoshop conferences and seminars. Over the years Eric has done work for a variety of clients. He has been commissioned to do work for magazine covers, flyers, posters, educational web sites, editorial illustrations, photo restoration & image correction.
